This morning I was reflecting on the Love of God. I wondered how He could Love the unlovable and what it would look like. I am keeping my son’s rescue dog, Newman. Newman looks like a pibble (cute name for pit bull). He has a large mouth, a hole in one ear (he was probably a bait dog), terrible gas, warts on his belly, and looks very scary. He is also very strong and likes to sleep in bed with you. He can drink a  gallon of water and the pee on every plant in the garden (including my cooking herbs), Yet I love him. I LOVE him. How can I love him? I love him because my son loves him and I love my son.  God loves the unlovable. I love God. It is that simple. I have to learn to love God loves.
