Lord of the Dance Michael Jackson died this week. As I am watching all of the news coverage, I can’t help but reflect on the tragic relationship so many people had with this very talented, flawed, conflicted, lonely pop star. The Musical Messiah he called himself. He gave his life over to this role and many many embraced him.His fans wail at his dying, they created shrines in his memory. He was worshiped leaving a hole in many hearts and lives. My prayer today is that these people will find that same passion for the real Messiah---The One and Only. The Beginning and the End. The King of Kings. The Way The Truth and The Life. The Lord of the Dance The Messiah gave everything because he loved Michael and you and me. He is the Lord of the Dance wooing us gently and lovingly into the only relationship that will fill that lonely void that no amount of talent, or money or fame, or drugs, or sex can fill. Make Him your dance partner today.
